Here is our Marina.  My dad and I are getting really good at taking the boat out.  It took us a few times to get our little "system" down, but now we're pretty good!

This pic has random placement, but that's blogger for ya.  My family and I took a trip down to South Carolina to Myrtle Beach.  Here it is.... They are putting sand back on the beach by dredging it up and spitting it back up here through that tunnel thing you see.  Erosion is crazy.  There were shells everywhere!!!

(Oops, this one got in here twice...)

Here the marina guys are lowering our boat into the water so we can get out!!

Off we go!

Few Randoms...

Sunset over Oak Island

Bye Bye Cali plate....

Hello NC plate.  You only get a back plate here, so I have to find something to put on the front of my car... I get to take my pick.

The sunsets are amazing here....

Just another walk on the beach...

The weather here has been amazing.  I walk on the beach in (usually) a t-shirt.  I had a tank-top on Dec 28th and was actually too hot.  It's great!!  Plus, there aren't many people out, so it's like having a private beach...

Everything I own, in a box to the left...

Can you believe ALL my stuff fit inside this box and made it across country?  Hehe... looks tiny!

You can prolly imagine my heart sinking when it pulled up on Lombard St in SF!!

It's pretty here....

This is tonight's (Friday) sunset from my driveway.

This is the sunset from my bedroom window tonight.

After I left the boat ramp tonight, this is the drive back to the main road...

Here is where our boat lives.  Crazy, eh?  We call an hour in advance - they bring their fork-lift over, grab the boat & set it in the water.  All we do is walk up and hop in.  :o) Then, when we get back, they pull it out, hose it off and put it away.  It's lovely!!!

Pic  from our boat ramp, looking at the rest of the marina area.

Made it through my first week!

Pretty houses on the coast - very s'uthern...

There are tons of these benches along the coastline.  Perfect study spaces!  :o)

This is actually a rough day here, since I have been here.
